Delete your Tintalú account
You can delete your Tintalú account and its data at any time, free of charge. Tintalú is a game by Parallext, LLC.
In the game (the quickest way)
- Open Tintalú and go to Settings.
- Tap “Delete account and data”.
- Confirm twice.
This also deletes your saved game and the other game data stored on your phone.
From this page
If the game is no longer installed or you prefer to do it here, you need your account code. You can find it in Tintalú › Settings, on the line “Code to delete your account on the web”. It has 26 letters and numbers in groups separated by hyphens, for example 3HZ7-M2Q9-XK4T-8VB1-NC6D-RF0-WPE (this is only an example).
- Enter your code and tap “Continue”.
- Check the code and confirm with “Yes, delete” within the next 5 minutes.
Deleting your account from this page will be available soon. In the meantime, delete it in the game (Settings › “Delete account and data”) or write to us at privacy@tintalu.com and we’ll do it for you.
Use the latest code you saw in Settings: when the game requests a new one (for example, after reinstalling it), the previous one stops working. We will never ask you for this code by email or phone.
What is deleted
- Your anonymous account, including in Firebase Authentication.
- Your data on our server: the integrity check, your account code and the link between your purchases and your account.
- For 2 hours a deleted-account mark remains, with your identifier only as a hash, so that nothing is written again in the account’s name; then it disappears.
- In the game, also your progress, seeds, boosters and settings stored on the phone.
If you delete the account from this page, the game data left on your phone can’t be deleted from here: it disappears when you uninstall the game. [[ABOGADO: texto sobre los datos del teléfono cuando el borrado llega por la web (Q-B13-22)]]
What is kept
Your purchase history, with nothing that identifies you, for [[ABOGADO: plazo fiscal]] for tax purposes. Purchases are not refunded and can’t be recovered. Analytics data isn’t linked to your account and is deleted automatically according to its retention period.
How long it takes
Right away: when you see “Done. Your account was deleted.”, the deletion is complete.
If you don’t have the code
If the game is installed, open it with an internet connection and go to Settings: the code appears there, or you can delete the account directly. If you no longer have it, write to privacy@tintalu.com.
